Interested in learning how to preserve your own food? This series of classes, offered by University of Wyoming Extension, will cover fermenting, dehydrating, water bath canning, and pressure canning. Classes are Tuesday evenings at Riverton Middle School, 840 Major Ave. Cost: $10 each or $30 for the series.

Pickling Made Easy: August 22, 5:30-7:00
Canning Jams and Jellies: August 29, 5:30-7:00
